Timothy J. Benjamin
President
Tim has had over 25 years of increasing financial and managerial responsibility. Before joining Railserve in 2001, Tim spent 12 years with Guardian Industries, the world's largest United States-owned glass manufacturer where he held the positions of Staff Accountant/ Network Administrator, Plant Controller, Operations Support Manager, and Group Operations Support Manager. After spending 9 years as VP-Finance and Co-President with Railserve, Tim is now President of Railserve and all related divisions.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University at Buffalo.
Bobby Ross
Senior Vice President
Bobby has over 39 years of experience in the rail industry. In 1973, he began his career as a switchman for the Texas & Pacific Railroad, and held various operational positions with Texas & Pacific, Missouri Pacific, and Union Pacific railroads. Bobby joined Rail Switching Services, Inc. (RSS) in 1986 and was responsible for all switching contracts and Galveston Railroad operations when Railserve acquired Rail Switching Services (RSS) in 1995. RSS merged into Railserve, Inc. and named Bobby VP of Operations. He was appointed Senior Vice President in 1998 and is responsible for the safe and reliable performance of all Railserve operations.
John P. Roberts
General Manager
John joined Railserve in 1995 as a Switchman and has held several positions of increased responsibility through the years including Site Leader and Regional Leader. Throughout his Railserve career he has completed numerous certifications and has frequently been recognized for his commitment to safety and customer service.
John was promoted to his current position in January 2008 and is responsible for safety, customer service, and operations of locations throughout the United States.
Timothy K. Lawler
General Manager – Ameritrack Rail
Tim joined Railserve in 2002 as Contract Administrator and over the years has worked closely with all areas of the company including accounting, safety, operations and marketing. As a Marketing Director, he was responsible for developing all Canadian business as well as managing key customers throughout North America. Tim now has operational/financial responsible Ameritrack Rail, Railserve's track maintenance and construction division. Prior to joining Railserve, Tim held various financial and managerial positions with Guardian Industries and the University at Buffalo.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Colgate University and a Master of Education and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University at Buffalo
TJ Mahoney
LEAF Program Manager
TJ has 35 years experience providing a wide range of products and services to Heavy Industrial clients globally. TJ graduated from Louisiana State University with a BS ChE and an MBA. After a few years as a plant production supervisor, TJ joined Exxon Chemical in their Refinery Process Chemicals group. While at Exxon, TJ was responsible for developing the Actrene product line for the global Olefins industry.
He transferred to Exxon's Callaway Chemical Company in Columbus GA as its Water Treatment business manager in 1992, and remained in this role after Vulcan Chemical bought the business from Exxon.
In 2003, TJ joined SGS-Petroleum Service Corporation as Business Development manager for Texas. He subsequently served as VP Sales for North America at SGS and as Business Manager of SGS Canada serving the Oil, Gas and Industrial markets. At both PSC and SGS Canada, TJ was responsible for developing and managing several rail switching operations.
Chris Hagge
Controller
Chris has over ten years of financial and managerial experience. Before joining Railserve in 2011, Chris worked for The Marmon Group as the Assistant Controller of the Transportation Services and Engineered Products sector. He also has held senior level financial positions in the rental car industry. Chris is responsible for the financial performance for all Railserve operations and affiliated companies.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Raymond R. Ricker Jr. (Rick), CSP
Vice President - Corporate Safety
Rick has 22 years of experience in industrial safety. He has designed and implemented effective EHS management systems for a diverse group of manufacturing industries [including chemicals, building materials and pulp and paper]. He has led the successful implementation of OSHA VPP, ISO 9002/14000 processes, and Behavior Based Safety programs at multiple union and non-union facilities. Rick is a Six Sigma Green Belt and has utilized the Six Sigma methodologies to improve EHS performance. Throughout his career he has championed safety by setting clear objectives, identifying gaps in desired outcomes and developing solutions to best fit the organization. Rick is also an accomplished trainer. He has led the development and implementation of classroom and computer based learning solutions to improve training consistency, quality, tracking and learner retention.
Rick joined Railserve in 2011 and is responsible for the safety, loss prevention and claims management functions of all Railserve operations and affiliated companies. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina, and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
Thomas (Tim) T. Pullen
Vice President - Human Resources
Tim joined Railserve, Inc. in 1996 and has over 25 years of experience in human resources management. Prior to joining Railserve, he held various positions in human resources at Southern Company Services, Inc. and Georgia Power Company, both subsidiaries of The Southern Company.
Tim works closely with the management team to develop and implement behavioral based recruiting and performance appraisals, safety/performance incentive and leadership development programs. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Auburn University, and is a Senior Professional in Human Resources as certified by The Society of Human Resources Management.
Bryan Boaz
Director of Business Development
Bryan is a sixth generation railroader. He began his own railroad career in 2003 as a conductor for the Kansas City Southern Railway. Soon after he became a conductor he was promoted to a Trainmaster and held positions for KCS all across the southern United States. Bryan quickly traversed through the ranks of the KCS operating department before being promoted to Director of International Business Development for the carrier in 2007. In the IBD position Bryan and his team developed the largest revenue generating projects for the company while he simultaneously worked on strategic projects for the executive team of KCS in the United States and Mexico.
Bryan joined Railserve in 2011 and currently serves as the Director of Business Development for the company. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Baylor University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Mark T. Bradshaw
Marketing Director
Mark joined Railserve in 1999. Prior to joining Railserve, he worked for 23 years in the paper industry with Union Camp Corporation and International Paper. Mark has held various positions in Transportation Operations, Railroad Track Maintenance, Sales and Corporate Purchasing.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from The College of William and Mary and is a past-President of the Southeast Association of Rail Shippers.
Stephanie A. Renner
Marketing Director
Stephanie has 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the transportation and logistics industries. She began her career at Conrail in 1985 with senior-level sales positions in New York, San Francisco, and Detroit and handled a wide variety of rail shipping customers. In 1997, she accepted a position with energy industry leader Southern Company and has held positions in the financial services and software industries.
Stephanie joined Railserve in 2002 and is responsible for maintaining, growing and securing customers for the Railserve family of businesses. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Advertising from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Tami S. Kopish
Accounting Manager/Contract Administrator
Tami joined Railserve in 2004 as a Staff Accountant. She has since been promoted to Accounting Manager and Contract Administrator. As Accounting Manager she oversees all accounting functions and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. As Contract Administrator she works with the marketing directors to develop uniform pricing, contract language, insurance requirements, and other customer related documentation.
Tami holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Jacksonville State University.
