Railserve and Pembina Logistics Team Up to Win CN Safety Award

When the CN Safe Handling Awards of 2015 were announced by the transportation carrier, CN, Pembina Resource Services was among the winners. Railserve is an important member of the Pembina team at this Redwater operation, providing loading services and third-party switching.

Terry Timoruski, of Pembina Pipelines writes, “Thank-you and congratulations to the Logistics Staff and the Railserve employees for being awarded the CN Safe Handling Award for 2015.”

In addition to the CN Safe Handling Award, the team also received safety awards from four other carriers in 2015, CP, CSX Transportation, Union Pacific and BNSF Railway.

The CN Safe Handling Award recognizes customers who make safety a top priority by handling dangerous goods carefully with zero non-accidental releases. Non-accidental releases are items such as leaking valves, plugs, or sample points.

The Redwater group moved nearly 27,000 rail cars in 2015. These awards are a testament to the diligence of the staff preparing cars for shipment.
